Selects OpenServices’ NerveCenter
NerveCenter will be the Core of the Network Management Platform
for the Company's European Expansion
Marlborough, MA. - November 6, 2007 - OpenService, the leader in Enterprise Event and
Information Management, today announced that Transaction Network Services, Inc. (NYSE:TNS)
is planning to use NerveCenter to monitor networks and services worldwide.
In 2005, TNS purchased NerveCenter and configured it to handle a variety of custom correlation
duties domestically. This month, TNS plans to implement another NerveCenter installation
at their International NOC located in Sheffield, England, where it will also handle customer and
service specific correlations.
“Going forward we plan to replace our current network polling application with NerveCenter,
said Richard Ferrante, Manager of Network Management for TNS. “We believe that NerveCenter
can monitor our networks more efficiently with less networks polling traffic and with much
smarter alarm information going to the NOC.”
