OpenService Announces Appointment of Art Zin to Vice President of Business Development
Marlborough, MA. - January 30, 2007 - OpenService, Inc., the leading provider of Enterprise Event Management (EEM) solutions, today announced the promotion of Art Zins to Vice President of Business Development to take effect immediately.
Zins brings over 25 years of experience in executive management, business development and professional services in the networking and security arena to OpenService.

"Art is responsible for spearheading the relationship with IBM, and was the catalyst behind OpenService becoming part of Blade.org, a collaborative organization and developer community focused on accelerating the expansion of blade solutions and the IBM and Intel blade ecosystem. During his time here, Art has been responsible for strategic business partnerships that have had a very positive impact on OpenService and our key partner relationships. We are excited to have him step into the Vice President role."
Prior to OpenService, Zins was the Director of Business Development & Channels at TopLayer Networks, an IPS vendor. While at TopLayer, he developed partnerships with leading systems and technology companies and managed TopLayer's channels program.
Before that, Zins was the VP of Business Development at NIKSUN, a network management and security company, where he was responsible for strategic partnerships and channels, including relationships with IBM and MicroMuse.
Zins holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School and an A.S.E.E degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a Certificate of Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
